Getting to know your checkers

I have found that shopping with coupons is easier when you have a checker that knows you and knows you are going to have coupons. I have a favorite checker at almost every store I go to. There are 3 Albertson's in my town and I have at least one at each store. At the one closest to my house I have 3! They always ask how my family is and love seeing my deals. I even have favorite checkers at Victoria's Secret (yes I use coupons to buy bras) and Bath and Body Works. I like to see them and visit with them about things. It helps to go when it's not a very busy time. I chat with them while they are scanning my items. Most of them know me by name and say hi to me when I get in their line. They know I'm going to use coupons. The other day I didn't have very many and my checker said I was slacking! I've even told some of them where to get the coupons so they can get some of the deals too. I have to admit that I even know some of their schedules so that I am going there at the right time (hey, they told them to me). You will find that if you get to know your checkers they will make your couponing life much easier.
