My Top Ten

I have a list of items I will not pay for. I use coupons and sales to get them for free. Of course the state takes their share, so I do pay sales tax.

Freebie Top Ten:
1. Toothpaste
I used to think paying $0.25 for a tube of toothpaste was a good deal. Now I won't pay anything. This is the easiest item to get for free. You just need to be flexible with the brand.

2. Floss
I always get free floss from the dentist, but you can get free floss from the store too. Just use a coupon!

3. Toothbrushes
Again, you just have to flexible with the brand of toothbrush and by stacking with a sale and coupon they can be free!

4. Paper
Staples always has an easy rebate on computer paper right before school starts and other times throughout the year.

5. Ink
If you bring your spent ink cartridges into Staples or Office Max they will send you rewards checks. I use those to buy more ink. You can also get rewards checks for buying certain items you just have to keep an eye out. I also just turn around and use those for ink.

6. Photos
Snapfish has been offering free prints to new members for quite some time but they often have coupon codes to get them for free even after your a member. I haven't even paid shipping on them in quite some time.

7. Deodorant
Again, you can't be picky about the brand but you can get name brand deodorant for free quite often.

8. Shampoo
I have recently started getting shampoo for free. This time it was Herbal Essences but other brands can be free also.

9. Oatmeal
Quaker Instant Oatmeal can go on sale for $2 a box. If you have a $1 off 1 coupon and are able to double, they're free!

10. Cooking Soups
Stack with a sale and a coupon, free! Broth can also be free.

There are others that I know I'm forgetting but this is a good start. I wish I could get toilet paper for free! That's the one I have the hardest time with. Sadly there are no Rite Aids near me where toilet paper is free this week.
